Description Farm holidays
For us it means: vacation for parents. With children!
Our family suites are furnished so that parents can have a stress-free vacation and everyone feels comfortable.
ORGANIC farm experience from the first minute: our cats are always the first to greet the guests (soft and child-friendly), the goats are next. And the three Kune-Kune pigs Berta, Olga and Kuno are the highlight of the day anyway! We also have Silkie chickens, Marans and Bielefeld chickens.
Everyone is welcome to go into the stable and experience everything up close - feeding, caring for, petting, cleaning out the stable, etc. - just a farm.
There are many play options on the farm for small and older children: our toddler playground and the natural playground in the forest with a romantic stream (experience nature and have fun at the same time). And of course you can ride a tricycle, pedal car or bicycle right outside your front door without traffic (we are at the end of a private road).
Hikes for all ages from the farm through the beautiful landscape of the vineyards: vineyards, forest, meadows. And for advanced hikers, alpine pastures and real mountains within a short driving distance.
Excursion destinations for all ages and all weathers make your stay colorful and varied.
Bathing fun is also guaranteed: in the outdoor pool, at the lake, in the river pool or in the thermal baths - all nearby.
By the way, our own children are 6 and 7. There are almost always other guest children there too - so there is always something going on at Simmhof ;)

Two-Bedroom Family Suite
The suite has one bedroom with a large double bed. Up to two additional beds for small children (up to 5 years old) can be attached to this - this creates a super cozy family bed.
Another bedroom is equipped with two single beds; additional beds for small children (up to 5 years) can also be added to these.
The living/dining room has a perfect view over the vineyards and is fully equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, sink, hotplates, microwave oven, kettle, espresso machine, cutlery and crockery.
You can also have breakfast on the large terrace.
Bathroom and toilet are separate. There is a changing table in the bathroom and the toilet has an integrated children's toilet seat.
The sockets all have child safety locks and the taps are equipped with anti-scald protection. The suites are specially equipped for family holidays with (small children). -
