Description Farm holidays
Our organic farm consists of 10 hectares of land, of which 3 hectares are used as hay meadows, 3 hectares of permanent pastures for our 20 ewes, approx. 1000 m2 of organic vegetable cultivation + cultivation in a polytunnel, orchards (young and old stock) and forest areas. The family business has been farmed organically since 1985, always with animal husbandry and fruit/vegetable cultivation, back then with cheese production and other products that were sold at various markets. The guest business (rental of the premises) was created around 30 years ago and the cooperation with Urlaub am Farm has been around for 20 years. We siblings took over the business in 2012 and run it together with our partners. Always with the conviction to create a place where people and nature can live in harmony through sustainable and careful cultivation methods, preserving natural cultivated areas, creating living spaces. We cook for our guests with healthy food produced directly on the farm, provide an insight into how food is produced and organic farming methods and provide seasonal and tasty recipes that can be easily integrated into everyday life.
