The Lindenhof is situated on the quiet outskirts of Kurtatsch, just a five-minute walk from restaurants and shops, yet surrounded by greenery. Three hundred days of sunshine a year allow not only fine grapes and sweet apples to ripen here, but also olives, from which the family presses their own extra virgin olive oil.
Behind the farm stands the Pomella family: Otto, Birgit, and their three children, Philipp, Jakob, and Lena. The Lindenhof has a total of 18 beds and is open all year round. Dogs are unfortunately not allowed. Baby and toddler equipment is available.
From the tree, from the vine, from the bush directly into the mouth
The Lindenhof is a genuine fruit and wine-growing farm. In the farm shop you will find fresh South Tyrolean specialties directly from the producer: farm-made naturally cloudy apple juice, extra virgin olive oil from their own olives (pressed on-site since 2009), jams, herbs and vegetables from the farm garden.
When it's in season, the family places fruit and vegetables in a basket next to the information corner. Just help yourself, no supermarket required.
Among the apple varieties grown on the farm are Royal Gala, Pink Lady, Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Crimson Snow, and others. Merlot grapes are also cultivated on the farm. Table grapes, various fruits, vegetables, and herbs thrive around the house.
Tip: The Pomella family offers weekly guided tours of their vineyards and orchards. A real highlight for anyone who wants to understand what goes into a South Tyrolean apple or a glass of Merlot.
