Welcome to Foidlhof in Hochfilzen – your holiday home in a sunny location in the Tyrolean mountains.
Our family-run farm is situated in a quiet and idyllic location nestled in the beautiful mountain landscape of the Kitzbühel Alps and offers the best conditions for a relaxing and active holiday at any time of year. Enjoy the summer resort in all its splendor, go on many hikes and bike tours and discover great destinations. In winter, skiing, cross-country skiing, winter hiking or tobogganing – numerous leisure activities start right on your doorstep. After an active day of vacation, our two cozy holiday apartments invite you to relax and feel at ease. The clear mountain air, the magnificent views, the warm atmosphere and the genuine Tyrolean hospitality make the Foidlhof an ideal place to feel good for families, couples and those seeking peace and quiet.
Dogs are also very welcome here, so you can fully enjoy your holiday together with your four-legged companion.
If you wish, you can enjoy fresh bread and pastries daily from our bread roll service. During your stay, a covered parking space in the carport is available to you free of charge. Our newly built ski room offers practical boot dryers and ski racks for your ski or cross-country skiing equipment.
"Adventure farm" for children of all ages!!
- Guided riding on the farm's own riding arena in July and August 1-2 times a week in the evening with our gentle, child-friendly horses "Kokosch", "Indian" and "Kamilla" (per ride/child € 12,-) | Guided riding is available on request in May, June, September, and October.
- Helping with stable work - feeding calves, caring for chickens, dwarf goats and dwarf rabbits, collecting eggs from the nest, petting cats.
- Children's playground with large in-ground trampoline, sandbox, swing, slide and seesaw
- Sunny, furnished terrace in the garden

The comfortably furnished holiday apartment "Spielberg" is located on the first floor (southeast-facing) and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday in the Tyrolean mountains in approximately 60 square meters of living space. The apartment features: an entrance hall, a combined living room and kitchen with a comfortable seating area and sofa, radio and cable TV, two double bedrooms, and two bathrooms with showers and toilets. The fully equipped kitchenette leaves nothing to be desired: a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a four-burner cooktop, a small oven, a microwave, a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, a blender, and a dishwasher. Wi-Fi is also available. Bed linens, bath towels, hand towels, dish towels, a hairdryer, and a cosmetic mirror are provided. For our younger guests, we are happy to provide a crib, bed rail, and highchair upon request.
Our holiday apartment is ideal for families, couples, or groups of up to four people. The sunny balcony and the terrace in the garden invite you to enjoy the view and simply relax. -
Holiday apartment “Buchensteinwand”, approx. 60m²
The comfortably furnished holiday apartment "Buchensteinwand" is located on the 1st floor (southwest side) and offers you everything you need for a relaxing holiday in the Tyrolean mountains on approximately 60m². The apartment features: entrance hall, eat-in kitchen with seating area and sofa, radio, separate living room with pull-out sofa bed, cable TV, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 2 bathrooms with shower/toilet. The fully equipped kitchenette leaves nothing to be desired: refrigerator with freezer compartment, ceramic hob, small oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, mixer and dishwasher. WiFi is also available. Bed linen, bath, hand and dish towels, as well as a hairdryer and cosmetic mirror are provided. For our younger guests, we are happy to provide a cot, bed rail and highchair upon request.
Our holiday apartment is ideal for families, couples or groups of up to 6 people. The sunny balcony and terrace in the garden invite you to enjoy the view and simply relax.

Our gentle, child-friendly horses "Kokosch", "Indian", and "Kamilla" are happy to be ridden by our guests' children 1-2 times a week in the evenings during the summer months of July and August in our own riding arena. (€12 per ride/child)
Riding helmets are provided! Guided rides are available upon request during May, June, September, and October. -
Our chickens
"Henriette", "Hildegard", "Mathilda", "Traudi", "Burgi" and "Gerti" love to take a sand bath in their sunny outdoor enclosure.

Our pygmy goats
"Heidi" and "Elsa" love to go on little discovery trips during the stable season and are allowed to enjoy the summer air at our restaurant "Hoametzl-Hütte" during the summer months.

Our dwarf rabbits
"Nelly", "Holly", "Lotti" and "Lilly" love feeding time, especially when they are allowed to eat their food directly from the children's hands under the supervision of the farmer.
