Welcome to the Fischerhof, a traditional hereditary farm in the picturesque Salzburg Lake District. Our organic farm, which has been run by our family for seven generations, offers you a perfect blend of tradition, nature, and warm hospitality.
Our farm and its history
The Fischerhof looks back on a long history that dates back to the time of Maria Theresa. At that time, our family was granted fishing rights on Lake Obertrum – a privilege that we still bear with pride today. Our farm is idyllically situated on the outskirts of the municipality of Obertrum am See, with its own bathing beach, jetty and sunbathing lawn, only 15 km from the cultural city of Salzburg. Lake Obertrum, the largest of the three Trumer lakes, is directly connected to Lake Mattsee and Lake Grabensee and offers numerous opportunities for water sports and recreation.
Accommodation and facilities
Our cozy guesthouse offers five charming double rooms, two spacious holiday apartments and a practical family room with a connecting door. Each room is lovingly furnished and equipped with satellite TV and modern showers/WCs. Many of our rooms also have a balcony with a wonderful view.
Our holiday apartments are ideal for families and long-term guests, as they feature a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy dining area. Start your day on our sun terrace with our rich breakfast buffet, featuring fresh products from our organic farm or from the region.
Leisure and relaxation
Enjoy the tranquility of our garden with a cozy arbor and a children's playground. Our spacious terrace invites you to relax and plan your excursions. With your own lake access and the option to use an electric boat, you can spend relaxing hours on the water. As our guest, you also receive free entry to the nearby public beach.
Activities and surroundings
The Fischerhof is the perfect starting point for numerous activities. Explore the beautiful nature of the Salzburg Lake District, go hiking and cycling or visit the Mozart city of Salzburg with its cultural highlights free of charge with the Mobility Ticket. Our location offers the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure for the whole family.
