Farm holiday at the Schleibachhof
Long ago, nawu apartments was just a farm. At some point, we realized this place was too spectacular not to let other people – our guests – stay here and share this magic.
Today, the Schleibachhof, which is the common name of nawu apartments, is home to the Haflinger mare Mississippi, the Fjord horse Sternthaler, the Shetty pony Lucy and mini pony Sternenstaub.
The incredibly funny Cameroon sheep, Elsa and her daughter Freya, are sure to bring a smile to every animal lover's face. The rabbits have plenty of space and enjoy eating dandelion leaves.
A huge aviary with canaries transforms the barn into a natural concert hall. The clucking of our chickens occasionally drowns out the singing.
We gladly accept help with the daily stable work.
A particular highlight for the children is riding along on the tractor. Seeing the joyful expressions on their faces is simply wonderful. Traditionally, hay is harvested and dried from the flower meadows in summer. As a member of "Farm Holidays," you can enjoy certified holiday quality. Our animals are happy, and we are convinced that this happiness and well-being is contagious for our visitors. Experience authentic, nature-based activities on the farm.

We live and breathe nature and agriculture.
We make juice from the grapes grown on our farm. Our homemade fruit brandy has become quite the insider tip. Our orchard with its apple and pear trees is the basis for our apple juice and cider. Good, old varieties. Unsprayed and untreated. A true gem and a health tonic for the body. Everything from harvesting to pressing and bottling is done right here at Schleibach Farm. You simply must taste the juice as it flows straight from the press, before it's pasteurized. A truly special taste experience. Then there are the colorful cherry trees, raspberries, and blackberries. This magnificent fruit also ends up on your plate. If they make it that far, that is. 😉

Part of our adventure meadow, a short stroll from the farm, is slowly transforming into a diverse wildflower meadow. Wooden loungers are scattered throughout. Following the motto, "A bed in the flower field, and schnapps at the bar in the evening," you can truly unwind there.

This rhythm of life in the countryside, at nawu apartments – Schleibachhof, has an effect. Even if it's subconscious. The body reacts positively to it.

A special area on our lawn has been prepared for you, and of course you are welcome to bring your dog to the restaurant.
Right from the nawu apartments, you can access the outdoor run through the woods and meadows. So much to sniff, so many animal sounds. Butterflies flutter in the summer and frolic in the snow in winter. Many dogs love the water. Your dog will be in their element at nawu-Land. The numerous streams with their large and small pools and ponds practically invite you to enjoy this element. The Gail River is just a short walk away. Perfect.

Nawu's farm shop isn't just a shop. Like Nawu Apartments itself, it stands for "that little bit extra." Local specialties from hand-picked producers. Ideas and products for your own culinary creations. A coffee-to-go machine (each apartment also has a fully equipped kitchen with a filter coffee machine) and freshly delivered rolls or bread from the local baker... the day can begin, then fresh cake in the afternoon... mmmh. Everything you need is there. You'll also find souvenirs and gifts, useful everyday items, and most certainly a friendly smile.
