WELCOME TO THE GIERKE NATURAL FARM
We welcome you to an eventful country holiday on our old German farm.
Enjoy a warm and hospitable atmosphere in the Uckermark with our family and in picturesque surroundings. Far away from everyday life and the noise of the big city, you can really relax with us. Upon arrival, we invite all guests to a half-hour tour of the farm. Here you can find out everything you need to know about your holiday with us on the farm.
You will stay with us in comfortably furnished holiday apartments (4 stars) with shower/toilet and television with a view of the yard and field. Of course, there are many animals living on our farm. Chickens, dogs, dwarf rabbits, cats, cattle, pigs, ducks and horses feel at home here.
The best way to get to know our horses is by grooming and saddling them and then relax with riding lessons on the lunge or in the riding arena. However, our guests have a variety of other options to spend their free time. You are welcome to look over the farmer's shoulder and gain your own experience with harvesting, feeding or mucking out. We grow and of course harvest potatoes, hay, straw, grain, alfalfa, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, pumpkin, apples and spice plants. Our guests are welcome to join in and help.
In our apple orchard you can also relax or have a barbecue and chat comfortably. With us you eat natural pork and beef that has been “grown” on the farm with sausage on bread or from the grill. You can also purchase this from us.
Explore the farm with your children, there is something new to discover every day. Sometimes the cow is calving, the cats and the dog want to be petted. Our games room (with cozy stove heating in the cold season) is equipped with a table tennis table, a billiards table and a table football table. On our farm there is a playground with a fence for the small children. A bowling alley in town and bicycle rental ensure a varied and relaxing holiday program. Many swimming lakes in the immediate vicinity also contribute to this. A playground opposite invites you to work out. Whatever the weather, our guests can exercise or relax on the farm.

Grünower Lake
The Grünower See is located on the outskirts of Grünow, not far from Prenzlau and has two swimming areas. The first is located directly on the main road towards Schmölln and has a lawn for sunbathing. The second can be reached via Lindenstrasse in town. This even has a small children's playground with a slide and climbing frame and a large lawn. You can also take a hike around the lake. The lake is about 2km away from our farm and can also be reached on foot or by bike.
