WELCOME TO THE GIERKE NATURAL FARM
We welcome you to an eventful country holiday on our old German farm.
Enjoy a warm and hospitable atmosphere in the Uckermark region with our family and in picturesque surroundings. Far away from everyday life and the noise of the big city, you can really relax with us. Upon arrival, we invite all guests to a half-hour tour of the farm. Here you can find out everything you need to know about your holiday with us on the farm.
You will stay in comfortably furnished holiday apartments (4 stars) with shower/WC and TV with a view of the farm and fields. Of course, there are many animals living on our farm. Chickens, dogs, dwarf rabbits, cats, cattle, goats, ducks and horses feel at home here.
The best way to get to know our horses is by grooming and saddling them, and then relaxing during riding lessons on the lunge or in the riding arena. However, our guests have a wide range of other options for spending their free time. You are welcome to look over the farmer's shoulder and gain your own experience with harvesting, feeding or mucking out. We grow and harvest potatoes, hay, straw, grain, alfalfa, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, pumpkin, apples and herbs. Our guests are welcome to join in and help.
In our apple orchard you can also relax or have a barbecue and chat in a relaxed atmosphere. With us you can enjoy natural pork and beef that has been "grown" on our farm, whether it's sausage on your bread or grilled. You can also purchase this from us.
Explore the farm with your children; there is something new to discover every day. Sometimes the cow gives birth, the cats and the dog want to be petted. Our games room (with cozy stove heating during the cold season) is equipped with a table tennis table, a billiard table, and a football table. On our farm there is a playground with a fence for small children. A bowling alley in the village and a bicycle rental in Prenzlau ensure a varied and relaxing holiday program. Many bathing lakes in the immediate vicinity also contribute to this. A playground opposite invites you to let off steam. Whatever the weather, our guests can be active or relax on the farm.

Grünower Lake
The Grünower See is located on the outskirts of Grünow, not far from Prenzlau and has two swimming areas. The first is located directly on the main road towards Schmölln and has a lawn for sunbathing. The second can be reached via Lindenstrasse in town. This even has a small children's playground with a slide and climbing frame and a large lawn. You can also take a hike around the lake. The lake is about 2km away from our farm and can also be reached on foot or by bike.
