At Lambachhof in Großarl in the Salzburg region, real country life awaits you – relaxed, down-to-earth and with mountain panorama included. Perfect if you want to get away and still be able to quickly reach everything important in the valley.
🐾 Farm life & playtime fun
At the farm you can feed and pet the animals and – if you like – help out a little, depending on the daily routine. There is plenty of space for children to play and romp around, as well as go-karts, a playground, a trampoline and badminton/softball. If the weather isn't cooperating, the recreation room (40 m²) with table tennis, table football and games is just right.
🏠 Holiday apartment “Sunshine”
The holiday apartment is 85 m² in size and can accommodate up to 8 people. You will have 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen/living room and a balcony with mountain views. Practical features: sink in every room, separate bathroom and toilet, Wi-Fi & satellite TV. Fresh bread rolls from the bakery are available upon request (and a washing machine for an extra charge).
🥛 Animals & Farm Products
The farm is home to cattle, as well as cats, chickens, sheep and rabbits – a particular highlight for children. Depending on the season, the animals are on the alpine pasture. Depending on availability, you can buy or sample farm products such as milk, eggs, jams, elderflower syrup, and various schnapps and liqueurs.
☀️ Summer in the region
In summer, the Grossarltal is ideal for hiking and cycling: you can expect around 400 km of marked trails – from family-friendly routes to summit tours, and many managed alpine huts. Popular destinations for day trips include... Examples include the Liechtensteinklamm gorge, the Alpentherme Gastein thermal baths, Hohenwerfen Castle and the Werfen Ice Caves. For families, the Geisterberg (Ghost Mountain) in St. Johann is also a good option.
❄️ Winter in the region
In winter, many opportunities await: skiing in the Ski Amadé ski area, cross-country skiing on trails in the valley, winter hiking and snowshoeing off the slopes. In addition, there are horse-drawn sleigh rides, cozy stops at alpine huts, curling and a relaxing evening in the restaurants and bars of the region. Especially for children: a small toboggan run right next to the farm. 🛷

Our spacious holiday apartment “Sonnenschein” for 2-8 people is ideal for families and anyone looking for a relaxing break in the mountains with its 86m². You'll have a comfortable place to stay and plenty of space to enjoy your holiday in peace.

Arrival by car
Coming from Vienna or Munich, take the Tauern Autobahn A10 towards Salzburg/Villach. At the motorway junction (Exit 47, Pongau junction), keep right and take the Bischofshofen exit.
Then follow the Bischofshofen bypass towards St. Johann im Pongau and continue on the Pinzgauer Bundesstraße B311 until the L109 exit towards Großarl/Hüttschlag. At the junction, turn left onto the Großarler Landesstraße (L109) and follow this road towards Großarl.
After approximately 9 kilometers, you will reach the "Lambach" turnoff, as signposted. Just before the bridge, bear slightly left and follow the farm track for about 100 meters.
The Lambachhof is located at the end of the access road.
