Description Farm holidays
You can really unwind in our two very spacious and tastefully furnished holiday apartments. You will feel at home from the first moment. Our small, fine organic farm is located in a sunny, isolated location - in the middle of beautiful nature - with a unique panoramic view of Lake Constance, the Swiss mountains, the Rhine Valley and Eichenberg.
IDEAL LOCATION
The location at the D-Ö-CH border triangle offers numerous excursion and hiking opportunities. The cycle paths around Lake Constance are also very popular. It is only 15 minutes by car to the lake. Our farm is also the ideal starting point for the cheese hiking trail or extensive Nordic walking tours.
LOTS FOR THE LITTLE ONE
Petting the small animals or helping the farmer feed the animals not only makes children's hearts happy. A large and clear forecourt as well as a small playground and a sandpit allow children to play undisturbed. Let your soul dangle in the hammock or listen to the sound of the water in the oasis of peace... while the children have fun in the playground.

Our beautiful holiday apartment (80 m²) with a fantastic panoramic view of Lake Constance was completely renovated in spring 2021. Very stylishly furnished, it is a great place to relax and enjoy the view of Lake Constance.

Holiday apartment “Bauerngarten”
Our new holiday apartment has been in operation since March 2020. The 110m2 apartment is very stylishly furnished and offers everything your heart desires. Located on the ground floor of our farmhouse, the apartment offers a wonderful view of our farm garden, Lake Constance and our cattle, ducks and chickens. This is what you can expect:
*1 bedroom with double bed (max. 2 adults + cot possible)
*1 bedroom with double bed and pull-out single bed for 2 additional people (max. 4 people in total)
*Spacious living room with 2 sofas, a cozy reading corner with an armchair, loungers and seating around the disused tiled stove and a flat-screen TV
*Well-equipped fitted kitchen (electric stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, microwave, sufficient dishes, kitchen towels, cleaning products, ...)

Galloway cattle
With our Galloway cattle we have fulfilled a long-cherished wish. The hornless Scottish cattle are extremely peaceful. Kuschel, Maximilian, Lausemaus, Franz, Rudi, Felix, Anton, Benno, Maus & Bert find the best conditions with us and can go outside 365 days a year. They only get fresh grass and their own hay, no concentrated feed or silage.

Cat Karl
Our cat Karl has been with us on the farm since the summer of 2016. We got him from a litter from a friendly farm in the neighboring community.
When Karl isn't pursuing his hunting instincts, Karl loves playing with his girlfriend Sissy. -
Ducks
We have divided our organic ducks into three duck houses. We just love watching these special animals. Especially when they take their beloved bath, these sweet feathered animals are hard to stop. A real spectacle and, above all, chatter that cannot be ignored.

Rabbits
On our farm we keep organic rabbits of the special breeds “Red New Zealander” and “Madagascar ram”. These beautiful rabbits have their own bunny house with us and come to a new place every day throughout the summer to eat fresh grass.

Cat Sissy
Sissy found her way from Burgenland to our farm in autumn 2016. Stuck between firewood, the little louse was rescued by friends and brought to us so that it has a good place to live. In the meantime she has found her favorite playmate in Karl.

Laying chickens
Our almost 40 organic free-range laying chickens in transhumance are pedigree chickens that are among the breeds that are threatened with extinction. So these are not highly bred hybrid chickens from a test tube. We are grateful that they provide us with our delicious breakfast eggs every day.

Chicken
All of our organic broiler chickens live behind the house. They enjoy searching for worms and insects or preening their feathers by scratching in the sand.
