What could be nicer than breathing in the healthy North Sea air and enjoying the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea.
At the Karstens farm you can spend your vacation on a real farm on the North Sea and an eventful time with our animals!
You can pet, help with feeding, collect the eggs for breakfast from our chickens, ride on the tractor and have fun on our farm to your heart's content.
We currently have the following animals on our farm:
Ponies, mini ponies, goats, dwarf sheep, chickens, cats and dachshunds
Of course you can also ride our ponies.
We offer free guided horseback riding from Monday to Friday, weather permitting. Of course our beloved ponies also want to be cared for!
3 new barrier-free holiday apartments await you,
They offer space for up to 5 people on 80 m². The spacious master bedroom, with smart TV, and the children's room invite you to sleep comfortably. The apartment has a bright, barrier-free shower room with toilet. The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, coffee machine, Senseo pad machine, toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge and freezer, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, etc. leaves nothing to be desired. In the spacious, light-flooded living room you will find a smart TV, a radio with CD player and a free WiFi fiber optic connection to always be up to date.
The underfloor heating ensures a cozy warmth throughout the house.
The covered terrace with high-quality garden furniture invites you to linger in the sun. All of our apartments are non-smoking and fully equipped. Dogs welcome by arrangement.

Petting/feeding/pony rides
With us, your children can pet animals, help with feeding, collect the eggs for breakfast from the chickens and have fun on our farm to their heart's content. If the opportunity arises, our little guests are also welcome to ride along on their own tractor.
Your children are also welcome to ride our ponies and mini ponies. During the warm season from the beginning of March to the end of October, we offer free guided horseback riding from Monday to Thursday, weather permitting. Of course, our ponies also enjoy gentle caresses.
