Dear guests,
What could be nicer than breathing in the healthy North Sea air and enjoying the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea.
At the Karstens farm, you can spend your vacation on a real farm by the North Sea and enjoy an exciting time with our animals!
You can pet the animals, help with feeding, collect breakfast eggs from our chickens, ride on the tractor, and have fun on our farm to your heart's content.
The following animals are currently on our farm:
Ponies, miniature ponies, miniature sheep, chickens, cats and dachshunds
Of course you can also ride our ponies.
From Monday to Friday we offer free guided horseback riding, weather permitting. Of course, our beloved ponies also need to be cared for!
3 new barrier-free holiday apartments await you,
They offer space for up to 5 people on 80 m². The spacious master bedroom, with smart TV, and the children's room invite you to sleep comfortably. The apartment has a bright, barrier-free shower room with toilet. The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, coffee machine, Senseo pad machine, toaster, kettle, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, etc. leaves nothing to be desired. In the spacious, light-filled living room you will find a smart TV, a radio with CD player and a free Wi-Fi fiber optic connection so you can always stay up to date.
The underfloor heating provides pleasant warmth throughout the house.
The covered terrace with high-quality garden furniture invites you to relax in the sun. All our apartments are non-smoking and fully equipped. Dogs welcome by arrangement.

Petting/feeding/pony rides
Your children can pet the animals, help feed them, collect eggs from the chickens for breakfast, and romp around our farm to their heart's content. Our younger guests are even welcome to ride on our own tractor.
Your children are also welcome to ride our ponies and miniature ponies. During the warmer months, from the beginning of March to the end of October, we offer free guided riding from Monday to Thursday, weather permitting. Our sheep also appreciate a gentle cuddle.
