Description Farm holidays
The family-run Hotel Burgstaller is located in Döbriach on Lake Millstatt, in the middle of the three-hectare hotel garden with its large playground. The traditional, family-oriented four-star hotel also operates its own farm. Using fresh, organically grown vegetables and many other top-quality regional products, the kitchen team conjures up delicious menus and buffets for parents and children.
Families can be really active here: hiking, cycling, golf, tennis or surfing, paddling and sailing in the Millstätter See water world. In summer, thanks to the sunny Carinthian climate, the lake reaches temperatures of up to 26 degrees. Those who prefer a more relaxed pace can unwind by the hotel pool while the kids splash around in the shallow children's area. If it happens to be cloudy (which is rather rare in Carinthia), the children simply conquer the indoor children's swimming pool or the large indoor play area.
Professional childcare ensures a varied program at the Familiengut children's center. Children can paint, do crafts, climb, or dance at the mini-disco in the evenings, all activities appropriate to their age. Exciting treasure hunts, adventure hikes or tractor rides round off the program. Under expert guidance, even the youngest guests can make their first attempts at riding, tennis or golf.
The youth center is the place to be for all teens. The highlight is the gaming room with multimedia offerings and a cool chill-out area for teenagers.
In winter, numerous lifts take holidaymakers to the 100 kilometers of well-prepared slopes in the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area, with fast runs for experts, practice slopes for beginners and a ski kindergarten for the youngest.
