When it comes to equestrian sports, you always have to remember that the “sports equipment” is alive!
Of course, something can happen, and even more serious injuries cannot be completely ruled out. What children and adults learn in terms of self-confidence, sense of responsibility, body control, fitness and concentration while riding protects them to the same extent from all kinds of accidents. So the risk is probably offset by the benefit.
