Enjoy holidays “with sensitivity” on our organic farm on the North Sea.
Our idyllic holiday farm is located behind the North Sea dikes between Büsum and St. Peter.
Stylish and lovingly furnished apartments and houses are designed to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible.
For the children we offer various play opportunities, natural interaction with many animals and horse riding. Cozy seating on the spacious courtyard, the beach section by the swimming pond and our sauna house with sun terrace invite you to linger. While the parents enjoy their coffee and read a good book in the beach chair, the children feed the goats and mini pigs or bring carrots and salad to the rabbits and multi-pigs or collect fresh eggs for breakfast. The children love the feeling of freedom, romping around on the straw floor, racing around the yard on go-karts or enjoying a trek with Farmer York. Our farm is a large adventure playground, where children's dreams come true!
Our pony experience doesn't just appeal to girls! You can lead ponies yourself or get riding lessons for young and old riding enthusiasts. In order to teach the children how to properly deal with the large four-legged friends, the focus is not only on riding, but also on care before they are saddled and ridden. At the same time, self-esteem is strengthened and social skills are promoted. Those who are not horse enthusiasts can also enjoy going for a walk with our two llamas, Axel and Anne.
Social evenings together in the barn or on the courtyard are important to us in order to get into conversation with our guests. What is popular is peeling crabs, barbecuing together or sitting around the campfire and letting the children bake stick bread. You can get selected organic drinks, good wines, beer and soft drinks in our small farm shop, but also our own potatoes, depending on the season, farm honey, fresh eggs every day and of course Dithmarscher cabbage.

Our animal farm residents
There are a variety of animals on our farm. Chickens run and ducks waddle freely across the yard. Many a hidden chicken nest is discovered by holiday children, and not just at Easter. Be careful, these fried eggs are not delicious! You can collect eggs in our freely accessible chicken nest with a flap. The two mini pigs “Bürste and Borsti” love to be scratched and are always happy about fresh vegetable scraps. Uschi and Rübli, our cuddly goats, are also happy about any attention. The sheep family is also always looking for attention. Our sometimes nasty goose is a tough competition for the farm dogs Franzi, Elli and Fiby when it comes to monitoring the farm. Cats that frolic are almost always happy to be petted and, above all, fed. Our large rabbit hutch is accessible for children and parents, and many a rabbit or guinea pig has escaped and is now hopping around freely between the vegetable crates. A girl's dream can come true with our little Shetty ponies. We offer various riding experiences for young and old. Our two llamas Axel and Anke look forward to walks with you. Kati the donkey loves to be cleaned, petted and ridden. The sheep from our partner sheep farm Hinne Hinz graze on the surrounding clover grass areas and also on the outer dike.

Our bright and friendly 65 sqm apartment, furnished in beach style, is suitable for 4 to a maximum of 5 people. The center of the kitchen-living room is the kitchen counter, where you can make yourself comfortable with a glass on the bar stools. A built-in fireplace provides coziness and warmth in the living room and the exposed wooden beams give the entire room a special charm. You can overlook the courtyard from the children's room, so the children are always close to the action. The master bedroom and the living-dining room are at the back, with a view of the farm garden. In the spacious bathroom you can relax under the rain shower.

The modern and Nordic-simply furnished 62 sqm apartment with exposed beams has a view of our farm garden from all rooms and is therefore very quiet. It is suitable for 4 to a maximum of 5 people. The kitchen-living room is equipped with clay plaster, which ensures a healthy and pleasant room climate, and radiant wall heating. -

The nostalgically renovated 51 sqm apartment, suitable for 4 to a maximum of 5 people, is based on the charm of bygone times. Exposed beams and wooden floors create a cozy atmosphere. The entire outside is covered with clay plaster walls and wall radiant heating, which ensure a pleasant and healthy indoor climate. We replaced the old brass bed in the bedroom with a 220cm wide family bed, which still gives the apartment its name.

The 15 sqm double room can accommodate 2 people (plus a child). It is located on the upper floor in the southwest corner of the farmhouse and the fully equipped guest kitchen and our wellness oasis in the basement can be used.
If you have a large family or want grandparents or friends to come visit, you can also book this room in addition to your apartment. -

This house is about 50m from the farm. We renovated it in 2020 and can now offer you this exclusive residential unit.
The house, furnished in Nordic style, has an area of approx. 100 square meters on two floors. Three bedrooms provide space for a large family of up to 6-7 people. The house offers a large fully equipped kitchen and a large living-dining room with a fireplace allows everyone to come together. The house also offers a large garden with a view of the surrounding fields. Two terraces and your own outdoor sauna are available. -

This cute house, typical of the region, is located not far from our farm and has been newly renovated. It has a floor area of approx. 75 square meters on two levels and offers space for 4 -5 people. The cottage usually has low ceilings and exposed wooden beams. There is a full bedroom on the upper floor and we have prepared a bed (90x200 and 140x200) for children in the anteroom. In the basement, the living area combines the kitchen, dining and living room as well as the bathroom. A fireplace in the living room ensures the appropriate coziness. This unit has a washing machine and a dryer and the house also offers WiFi. The old farm garden is a dream.

The barn - the simple one
This house is located 50m from the farm, right next to the NordseeStil house and is reminiscent of old times. It is the former farm building of the manager's house and today offers our most affordable accommodation.
We renovated this house. There are two bedrooms and a kitchen-living room without a dishwasher and there is a washing machine in the shower room. The large shared garden of the two houses has its own sun terrace with a charcoal grill. The garden with a view over the surrounding fields offers plenty of space to play, to retreat and in autumn you can harvest the fruit from the trees.

Excursion tips for the region
Our holiday region offers many opportunities for excursions and nature experiences. Mudflat hiking, a fishing trip with a shrimp boat, a visit to the Multimar Wattforum, island and Hallig excursions, animal and leisure parks, strolling in Husum or a beautiful day at the beach in St. Peter Ording are just a few examples of activities in our region. The Wadden Sea World Heritage Site is right on our doorstep. Here you can particularly feel nature, the wind and the vastness. Let your soul unwind with a walk or a bike ride along our outer dike. Water sports enthusiasts also get their money's worth, the lagoon in Büsum is particularly suitable for kitesurfing and kitesurfing beginners, while the more advanced ones are challenged in St. Peter Ording. For those who want to improve their handicap, there are two golf courses available, Golfclub Büsum and Gut Appeldör.

We are the fourth generation to continue the farm. Convinced that organic farming was the right path, York's father converted the business in 1987. Since then, the business has been managed according to Bioland guidelines. From an initial hobby in the 1970s, the holiday business, today's Warfthof Wollatz, developed with lovingly furnished apartments and houses and an extensive range of guests.

Directions
The Warfthof Wollatz is located on the edge of the town of Süderdeich. Coming from the A23 (Büsum-Wesselburen motorway exit), drive towards Wesselburen. After about 12 minutes by car you come to Wesselburen and, in front of the railway tracks, turn directly onto the black path that leads along the railway line and cross the railway tracks again into Süderdeich. Then turn left onto the main street of Süderdeich and immediately right again after the pavilion-like bus stop into Hellschener Chaussee. Follow this street almost to the end of the village, our Warfthof is on the right side.
