Description Farm holidays
Family vacations are in the best location: 3 km from the beach, 20 minutes from Kiel! Here you'll find farmland and animals, plenty of space to play, and numerous excursion destinations in the surrounding area.
Since we have several vacation apartments of varying sizes, our farm is also the ideal destination if you want to travel with friends or grandparents.
We farm primarily with a focus on arable farming and organic egg-laying. In addition to the chickens, our farm also houses geese, pigs, guinea pigs, ponies, and our cat.
The farm offers plenty of space to play and numerous playground equipment (trampoline, slide, seesaw, swings, children's vehicles, a large sandpit, etc.).
In the surrounding area, there are an extraordinary number of excursion destinations (also suitable for rainy days!) as well as numerous cycling and hiking trails.

Holiday apartment Imke in the farmhouse for 2 people
Our Imke holiday apartment is on the 1st floor of the historic farmhouse. The holiday apartment has been newly renovated, but without losing the charm of the old farmhouse. A fully equipped kitchen and a shower room offer modern comfort, the 120-year-old floorboards and high ceilings create a great atmosphere and comfort.

Old bakery for up to 6 people
Some time ago the old bakery on our farm was completely renovated. It now offers space for up to 6 adventurous holidaymakers in three separate holiday apartments. Each of the self-contained units has 3 bedrooms, a shower room and a guest toilet as well as its own terrace with direct garden access.

Our organic laying hens
There have always been chickens on the farm. Chicken farming has now become an important mainstay of our farm. Around 3,000 laying hens live in our chicken coop. We keep them according to strict organic guidelines. This is checked and certified every year (DE-ÖKO-009). During the day the chickens are allowed to walk on the large meadow, at night they go back to the safety of the coop. Once a week we offer our guests a tour of our modern chicken coop.

Our fattening pigs
In our pigsty, up to 12 fattening pigs live in a pen with straw. There is always something going on here! They eat our own grain and in the autumn they also enjoy the odd apple.

Our geese
The two geese "Mamagans" and "Papagans" are our farm police. Because if you have geese, you don't need a guard dog! Sometimes the two have offspring in the spring, which they look after well. (Unfortunately, the offspring always disappear without a trace shortly before Christmas...)

Our ponies
There are two ponies living on the meadow. The big brown pony is called "Baltica" and the small spotted pony is called "Cassandra". We don't offer pony rides, but once a week Cassandra lets all the guests pamper her to their heart's content with the curry comb and with caresses.

Our guinea pigs
Our guinea pigs live in the farmhouse's large garden all summer long. In winter, they live in a large enclosure in the barn.

... and forget the time! Many of our guests arrive with big excursion plans, but then rarely leave the farm. The little guests get their money's worth on the trampoline, the Kettcars or petting the animals, while the parents and grandparents lie in the shade of the apple trees on the meadow and read a good book, or enjoy a coffee on the bench in the sun. And that's exactly how vacation should be, right?
