Description Farm holidays
The Wendlandhof Lüggau was built at the end of the 19th century by our great-great-uncle Adde and passed on to his nephew August and his wife Minna, the great-grandparents of Hanne and Hendrik, who now own the house together with the entire family. The large chestnut tree that stands beautifully next to the house was planted when our grandma Ilse was a child and has been growing for over 90 years. Numerous family celebrations were celebrated under the chestnut tree. When our grandparents Ilse and Heinz's grandchildren came, the chestnut tree and the house continued to be the center of family gatherings. This is how it should be again - with you, as our guests!

Rose Room
The rose room is our "children's room" with two single beds on the ground floor.

Sun deck
The sun deck is - as the name suggests - a great room where the sun shines all day long. However, it is a connecting room that leads off the kitchen. Advantage: Here you have television with Netflix and Waipu.tv.

The office
The office is our single room with a desk. It is a bit off to the side below the staircase. Ideal if you want to have peace and quiet.

Slanted room
As soon as you come up, you come to the sloping room on the left. There is a double bed here. Advantage: You are directly opposite the bathroom upstairs and there is a DVD player and a large DVD collection.

Lüttes Eck
The lütte Eck is a small room, similar to the office on the ground floor. However, there is a 140*200cm bed, so a couple could also sleep here.

The Suite
The suite is the largest room and is quite remote on the first floor. Since it also offers space for a baby bed, it is particularly suitable for families with small children.

We (two families who have taken over the house) rent out a beautiful half-timbered house in Lüggau in the beautiful Wendland region. The house is an "heirloom" that we lovingly renovated in 2021 and 2022. As children, we walked barefoot across the property on summer days. It was a long road, accompanied by doubt and courage, until we came to the decision to take over our grandfather's legacy. Now we hold firmly to tradition and history.

Lüggau is located right next to Dannenberg (Elbe) in the catchment area of Hamburg, Berlin and Hanover and is therefore perfect for family get-togethers. The way our family used to come together here is what we want it to be like again. The Wendlandhof Lüggau should remain and become a place where families and friends come together and learn to love the farm and the place, so that it becomes a symbol of solidarity.
By TRAIN: From Hamburg, Hanover and Berlin you travel to Lüneburg and from there take the slow train to Dannenberg Ost. From the train station it is not far to Lüggau - but you would still have to take a taxi or have others who are traveling with you pick you up.
By CAR: You drive from Hamburg via the A7 and A39 and from there on the B216 to Lüggau. From Hanover you can also take the A7 and then the B216, or you can drive completely on the federal highways B188, B3 and B191. From Berlin take the A24 and then the B191 or also the federal highways.
