Description Farm holidays
Enjoy holidays "with subtlety" on our organic farm on the North Sea.
Our idyllic holiday farm is located behind the North Sea dikes between Büsum and St. Peter.
Stylish and lovingly furnished apartments and houses should make your stay with us as pleasant as possible.
For the children we offer various play opportunities, natural interaction with many animals as well as horse riding. Comfortable seating areas on the spacious courtyard, the beach section by the swimming pond and our sauna house with sun terrace invite you to linger. While the parents enjoy their coffee or read a good book in a beach chair, the children feed the goats and the mini pigs, bring carrots and salad to the rabbits and guinea pigs, or collect fresh eggs for breakfast. The children love the feeling of freedom, romp around on the straw floor, race around the yard in go-karts or enjoy a trekking ride with Farmer York. Our farm is a large adventure playground, where children's dreams come true!
Our pony experience doesn’t just appeal to girls! You can lead ponies yourself or get riding lessons for young and old horse riding enthusiasts. In order to teach the children how to handle the big four-legged animals correctly, the focus is not only on riding, but also on caring for them before saddling and riding. At the same time, self-esteem is strengthened and social skills are promoted. Those who are not horse enthusiasts can also go for a walk with our llama Anne and our two alpacas.
Social evenings together in the barn or on the farmyard are important for us to get into conversation with our guests. Popular activities include peeling crabs, having a barbecue together or sitting around the campfire and letting the children bake bread on a stick. You can buy selected organic drinks, good wines, beer and soft drinks in our small farm shop, as well as our own potatoes, farm honey depending on the season, fresh eggs every day and of course Dithmarscher cabbage.

Courtyard apartment - the cozy thing
Our bright and friendly 65 sqm apartment, furnished in beach style, is suitable for 4 to a maximum of 5 people. The center of the kitchen-living room is the kitchen counter, where you can make yourself comfortable with a glass on the bar stools. A built-in fireplace provides coziness and warmth in the living room and the exposed wooden beams give the entire room a special charm. You can overlook the courtyard from the children's room, so the children are always close to the action. The master bedroom and the living-dining room are at the back, with a view of the farm garden. In the spacious bathroom you can relax under the rain shower.

Garden apartment - the modern one
The modern garden apartment with balcony combines the need for comfort, natural beauty and awareness of good design. Simply Scandinavian, time for light, lightness and country life.
The modern and Nordic-simply furnished 62 sqm apartment with exposed beams has a view of our farm garden from all rooms and is therefore very quiet. It is suitable for 4 to a maximum of 5 people. The kitchen-living room is equipped with clay plaster, which ensures a healthy and pleasant indoor climate, and wall radiant heating. -
Brass bed apartment - the nostalgic
The nostalgically renovated 51 sqm apartment, suitable for 4 to a maximum of 5 people, is based on the charm of bygone times. Exposed beams and wooden floors create a cozy atmosphere. The entire outside is covered with clay plaster walls and wall radiant heating, which ensure a pleasant and healthy indoor climate. We replaced the old brass bed in the bedroom with a 220cm wide family bed, which still gives the apartment its name.

Rose room - small but nice
The 15 sqm double room can accommodate 2 people (plus a child). It is located on the upper floor in the southwest corner of the farmhouse and the fully equipped guest kitchen and our wellness oasis in the basement can be used.
If you have a large family or want grandparents or friends to come visit, you can also book this room in addition to your apartment. -
House North Sea style - the Nordic
This house is about 50m from the farm. We renovated it in 2020 and can now offer you this exclusive residential unit.
The house, furnished in Nordic style, has an area of approx. 100 square meters on two floors. Three bedrooms provide space for a large family of up to 6-7 people. The house offers a large fully equipped kitchen and a large living-dining room with a fireplace allows everyone to come together. The house also offers a large garden with a view of the surrounding fields. Two terraces and your own outdoor sauna are available. -
Thatched roof cottage 1813 - the idyllic one
This cute house, typical of the region, is located not far from our farm and has been newly renovated. It has a floor area of approx. 75 square meters on two levels and offers space for 4 -5 people. The cottage usually has low ceilings and exposed wooden beams. There is a full bedroom on the upper floor and we have prepared a bed (90x200 and 140x200) for children in the anteroom. In the basement, the living area combines the kitchen, dining and living room as well as the bathroom. A fireplace in the living room ensures the appropriate coziness. This unit has a washing machine and a dryer and the house also offers WiFi. The old farm garden is a dream.

The industrial-style furnishings give this very well-equipped house its special charm. It is located 50m from the farm, right next to the NordseeStil house, and offers space for a small family or a couple. The open living room with its huge terrace facing the garden gives you the feeling of being outside. A fireplace and hot tub complete this living unit. Modern comfort can be combined with all the amenities of a farm holiday.

Our animal farm residents
There are a variety of animals on our farm. Chickens run and ducks waddle freely across the yard. Many a hidden chicken nest is discovered by the holiday children not only at Easter. Be careful, these incubated eggs are not a treat! You can collect eggs in our freely accessible chicken nest with a hatch. The two mini pigs "Bürste and Borsti" love to be petted and are always happy about fresh vegetable scraps. Uschi and our other three cuddly goats also appreciate any attention. The sheep family is also always looking for attention. Our sometimes nasty goose is a tough competitor to the farm dogs Elli, Ingo and Fiby when it comes to guarding the farm. Our large rabbit hutch is accessible to children and parents. A girl's dream can come true with our little Shetland ponies. We offer various riding experiences for young and old. Our two alpacas are looking forward to walks with you. Donkey Kati loves to be groomed, petted and ridden. The sheep of our partner sheep farm Hinne Hinz graze on the surrounding clover grass fields and also on the outer dike.

Katinka and York Wollatz with family
We are the fourth generation to continue running the farm. York's father converted the farm in 1987 out of the conviction that organic farming was the right way to go. Since then, the farm has been run according to Bioland guidelines. What started as a hobby in the 1970s developed into a holiday farm, today's Warfthof Wollatz, with lovingly furnished apartments and houses and a wide range of guest services.

Our holiday region offers many opportunities for excursions and nature experiences. Mudflat hiking, a fishing trip with a shrimp boat, a visit to the Multimar Wattforum, island and Hallig excursions, animal and leisure parks, strolling in Husum or a beautiful day at the beach in St. Peter Ording are just a few examples of activities in our region. The Wadden Sea World Heritage Site is right on our doorstep. Here you can particularly feel nature, the wind and the vastness. Let your soul unwind with a walk or a bike ride along our outer dike. Water sports enthusiasts also get their money's worth, the lagoon in Büsum is particularly suitable for kitesurfing and kitesurfing beginners, while the more advanced ones are challenged in St. Peter Ording. For those who want to improve their handicap, there are two golf courses available, Golfclub Büsum and Gut Appeldör.

The Warfthof Wollatz is located on the edge of the town of Süderdeich. Coming from the A23 (Büsum-Wesselburen motorway exit), drive towards Wesselburen. After about 12 minutes by car you come to Wesselburen and, in front of the railway tracks, turn directly onto the black path that leads along the railway line and cross the railway tracks again into Süderdeich. Then turn left onto the main street of Süderdeich and immediately right again after the pavilion-like bus stop into Hellschener Chaussee. Follow this street almost to the end of the village, our Warfthof is on the right side.
