Description Farm holidays
Farm holidays for the whole family – that is the Leverenzhof of the Winkelmann family from the Lüneburg Heath. It has been owned by the family for over 500 years and is still inhabited and managed by them today. Here tradition meets modernity, as the farm operates Germany's largest fish farm and the only ASC-certified trout farm according to the most modern standards. But the “traditional” farm animals are also at home here. Calves, free-range chickens, cats, sheep, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, mini pigs and ponies live on the farm and guests are cordially invited to help with feeding and care. Your hosts will be happy to give you insights into modern agriculture and will be happy to answer any questions you may have about arable farming, fish farming and animal husbandry. The Leverenzhof is a real highlight, especially for families. Adventure playground, straw barn, bicycles, various pedal vehicles, table tennis table, basketball courts, trampoline, lounge for bad weather days and much more await guests both young and old. The farm's offer is rounded off by the 4 modern and spacious holiday apartments, all of which offer space for up to 6 people and also offer a suitable place for your dog. By the way: If you wish, we can even have a trout freshly smoked for you – it doesn’t get any fresher than that.
