Description Farm holidays
The Reithof holiday resort is located amidst the imposing mountain scenery of Filzmoos, in the heart of the Salzburg sports world. Here you can stay in cozy holiday apartments with a balcony or in our beautiful rooms with breakfast or half board with mountain and valley views. Surrounded by forests, meadows and the peaks of the Alps, the location in tranquil nature is perfect for anyone seeking a true mountain atmosphere.
The riding stable is a traditional mountain farm with forestry and animal husbandry. Your children will make friends with cows, horses, cats and dogs and experience daily what life on a farm is like. You can buy and enjoy the farm products directly on site. As a self-caterer, you can prepare your meals according to your own taste, or you can book the generous breakfast, half board or à la carte dining in the panoramic restaurant.
The facility offers a large playground with many different activities or a playroom for rainy days. Baby equipment is available and can be ordered upon request. Dogs are very welcome, and Wi-Fi and parking are of course available.
In summer you can expect hiking trails directly from the farm, guided bike tours with the owner Johann through the region and many swimming opportunities. The Filzmoos Summer Card offers many opportunities to create an unforgettable experience every day; it is included. Every Wednesday we take our guests to our Reitalm for a barbecue evening which simply creates unforgettable beautiful moments and pictures. (A little tip from us: going along is well worth it.)
In winter, the riding stable is situated at an altitude of 1200m, so that when the weather is fine you can watch the balloons taking off in the morning for several weeks while having breakfast. The ski slopes are not far from us and offer an absolutely dreamlike experience, as Filzmoos is known for being somewhat quieter, so it's just right if you want to leave the hustle and bustle behind. Cross-country skiing is also wonderful here, as we have a high-altitude trail on the Rossbrand that works perfectly all winter, as well as several trails in the valley. Winter hiking is very idyllic and really recharges your batteries.
