Welcome to Sonnenhuab Farm! We look forward to welcoming you as our guests and offering you a pleasant and unforgettable holiday with many beautiful experiences and memories for eternity. The Sonnenhuab farm is located at 630m above sea level in the middle of the Salzburg mountains on the sun terrace of the climatic health resort of St. Veit im Pongau, at the foot of Schattseitner's local mountain "Heukareck". You will find us near the edge of the forest between Schwarzach and St. Johann im Pongau. On our farm there are currently 5 calves, 2 mini ponies, almost 50 chickens and 3 rabbits, a play area with a playground (one directly on the farm and one within walking distance (200m), a trampoline, a sandpit, vehicles and a flying fox Orchard, deckchairs and a porch swing invite you to relax and linger. If the weather permits in winter, you will also find your own small ice skating rink, a toboggan run and lots of toys for perfect snow fun on the farm and can be used at any time for daily work around the farm.
“TOGETHER” is very important to us and all family members on the farm help out. We try to make your vacation unforgettable and support you with all your concerns.

The holiday apartment “Heukareck” has a living space of almost 90m², offers space for up to 5 people (2 double beds, 1 bunk bed, 1 sofa bed, cot) and a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains.
The apartment is on the 1st floor of the farmhouse and is fully equipped with two bedrooms, kitchen, living and dining area, children's play area, large entrance area or anteroom, bathroom with shower and whirlpool bath, separate toilet, WiFi, satellite TV, kettle, coffee machine, balcony with a fantastic view and much more.

We currently have 3 rabbits at the Sonnenhuab farm.
Flecki, Kiki and Franzi are having fun in the stable in their large outdoor enclosure. -
Our hard-working chickens
There are currently almost 50 chickens on our farm that can roam freely in their fenced-in area every day. There are enough nests in the chicken coop where we can collect the eggs every day without having to go into the coop.
How about collecting your own egg for breakfast? -

Our 4 calves are a well-rehearsed team and enjoy the wonderful days on the pasture.
