We love spending our holidays on farms. There is nothing better than experiencing nature up close and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. Everyday life on a farm is characterized by work, but also by many special moments that the farmer shared with us and that we will never forget. In this blog article we would like to share with you our 5 most beautiful moments on a farm holiday .

1. Breakfast on the terrace
   
   When the sun slowly rises and you wake up to the sound of birds chirping in a high-quality solid wood bed , there is nothing better than enjoying breakfast on the farm's terrace. We always looked forward to getting fresh milk, eggs and jam straight from the farm and drinking a cup of coffee or cocoa with it. It's an indescribable feeling to feel nature and start the day comfortably.
   
2. Pet the animals
   
   A highlight on a farm is of course the animals. Petting and feeding the cows, sheep, horses and goats was special for us. The children especially loved watching the animals and watching them graze. It is an indescribable feeling to be so close to nature and to experience the animals up close .
   
3. Explore the surroundings
   
   Another highlight on a farm is the surroundings. There is always so much to discover and explore. We always looked forward to taking long walks through the fields and forests and enjoying nature. It was particularly nice to watch the sunset on a meadow, watch the cows grazing and enjoy the peace and quiet.
   
   
4. The do-it-yourself
   
   On a farm there are always many opportunities to get creative yourself. Since we were on an active farm , we were able to make jam, bake bread or make homemade cheese. It was an indescribable feeling to enjoy the results of our work over dinner or breakfast
   
   
5. The evenings around the campfire
   
   One of our absolute favorite moments on our farm holiday were the evenings around the campfire. It was wonderful to feel the warmth of the fire and chat together with your family or partner . We made stick bread and looked at the stars. Many evenings ended with a game in front of the fire, others in a cozy blanket on the lawn. It was an indescribable peace and relaxation that we couldn't experience in any other way.

Overall, every holiday on a farm was an unforgettable experience for us. The nature, the animals, the surroundings and the opportunities for DIY and relaxation have thrilled us every time.
