Welcome to the Franck-Walchhofer family at the Steinerbauer farm!
Our house is located a little above the Reitdorf district. We guarantee you a view of the town and the surrounding mountain landscape.
Our animals look forward to one or more visits! Pony rides, animal feeding (with lots of information about species-appropriate animal husbandry), hay hopping, campfire time, barbecue evenings, playground with trampoline, space to run around,... your children will always be busy here too!
In summer, the cozy organic farm is a good starting point for numerous hikes and excursions in the region.
You can find us if you have any questions, and we also have flyers and our insider tips available for you.
There are also two free swimming lakes in the town, the Amade family thermal bath, a summer-winter toboggan run,...
You can find regional products on every corner: at the farm, at various markets and self-service shops.
On request, we will be happy to arrange a bread delivery service for your relaxing holiday.

Our farm is located above the Reitdorf district of Flachau
with views of the surrounding mountains and the valley itself.
You can even watch the skiers on Grießenkarberg :-)
Coming from Flachau:
Flachau motorway exit - exit towards Reitdorf - after about 2 km turn into "Steinerweg", turn left under the motorway underpass, follow the road for 1 km, turn left at the ski bus stop, destination reached!
Coming from Altenmarkt:
Motorway exit Graz/Altenmarkt/to the Atomic ski factory right - right, under the motorway bridge - first entrance on the left (post office), again under the motorway underpass, up to the right - along the beautiful cowshed - Steinerweg 12 - destination reached!

Unser absoluter Lieblingsplatz
Wir verbringen unseren Urlaub minderstens 1x im Jahr dort und werden es auch weiterhin tun. Unser Kind war beim ersten Mal 2 1/2 und jetzt ist sie 13. Etwas anderes kam nie in Frage!
Es ist und bleibt für unsere ganze Familie der absolute Lieblingsplatz und die absolute Lieblingsfamilie "Steinerbauer"!!!

Perfekter Familienurlaub
Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft einmalig. Schöne, idyllische Lage. Viele Tiere. Aufgrund der Lage, kann man auch jüngere Kinder unbedarft dort spielen lassen. Es gibt Baumhäuser, Strohboden, einen Bastel- und Werkraum beim Hühnerstall. Tiere dürfen mitgefüttert und versorgt werden. Zur Belohnung ist Reiten möglich. Schöne Ziele mit Kindern in der Umgebung. Floris Erlebnispfad und vieles mehr. Schöne Freibäder und ein Erlebnisbad. Waren schon im Sommer und im Winter zum Skifahren dort. Beides war super! Tolle Rodelbahn am Hausberg.

Seit vielen Jahren verbringen wir unsere Winterferien beim Steinerbauer und sind immer wieder glücklich und zufrieden. Die Gastfreundlichkeit, der Umgang mit den Tieren und die Lage des Bauernhofes sind nicht zu übertreffen.

Gastlichkeit sehr schön
Wir suchten während unserer Durchreise mit 3 kleinen Kindern einen Schlafplatz. Es war schwierig, einen Platz zu finden und Steinerbauer hatte noch Platz für uns. Ein Babybett wurde aufgestellt und wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Sehr schön.

Schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Ausblick
Wir haben ein Paar Tage in einem Appartement von Verena verbracht!
Sie war immer eine gute Ansprechpartnerin, wenn wir etwas brauchten.
Da es Winter war, haben wir nicht so viel der Tiere gesehen. Aber die Hasen waren ein Highlight für unseren Sohn.
