The Obereggerhof is located in the picturesque, green Valser Valley. Extensive coniferous forests extend around the farm. In the middle of the forest, just above the farm, there is a rushing waterfall - a beautiful place for picnicking and relaxing. At the end of the valley is the most beautiful alpine village in South Tyrol, the Fanealm, and behind it towers the Wilde Kreuzspitz, a 3132 m high peak. The “Valler Bachl” runs through the entire valley and flows directly past the farm. Despite the quiet location, the episcopal town of Brixen is only 20 minutes away and the town of Bruneck is only 25 minutes away.
The Obereggerhof was completely rebuilt in 2009 according to the latest climate house guidelines and using sustainable wooden construction. Wood from our own forest was used. Our own wood chip system provides comfortable and environmentally friendly heat. All apartments at the Obereggerhof are allergy-friendly and non-smoking.
This means that guests of the Obereggerhof spend their farm holidays not only in the midst of South Tyrolean nature, but also in harmony with nature.
