Description Holiday farm

The mountain village of St. Jakob lies directly on the main Alpine ridge, amidst an enchanting backdrop of alpine pastures and wild nature. The Matzilerhof is an ideal destination for families who want to spend a quiet holiday away from the tourist crowds. There are always activities on the farm, you are cordially invited to experience everyday farm life with us and to playfully get to know how to deal with animals and work in the fields, alpine pastures and in the forest. Excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity: biotopes, waterfalls, mineral hiking trails, stalactite caves, refuges, alpine pastures, mountain lakes, easy - and also challenging peaks; in winter the nearby cross-country ski trail, over 25 km long, with various levels of difficulty.

    From the north: on the Munich-Innsbruck-Brenner motorway (A 13): exit: Vipiteno.
    From the south (A22) to Vipiteno.
    At the roundabout at the Vipiteno motorway exit, turn immediately right, after about 500 m turn right again, drive another 200 m and turn left into Pfitschtal. Follow the valley along the river to the village of St. Jakob.
    Our farm is located in the middle of the village, number 25, right next to the fire department.
