Holiday at the Archehof

The Oberwieserhof is located in Sonnenburg, a small, listed, romantic hamlet, near the town of Bruneck. We gave up dairy farming and have now been an Archehof since 2021. This means that we strive to preserve old animal species that are threatened with extinction.
We rent 2 cozy holiday apartments for 2 people each. We are also happy to take in well-behaved dogs, although you should note that many of our animals move freely around the farm.
Our particularly idyllic and sunny location makes our farm what it is, namely a place where you can relax and unwind. The many cozy places are just as much a part of the farm as our four-legged friends.
We have cattle, horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks, cuddly cats and our dog Eddi.
You can learn a lot from them and there is always something going on here.
A highlight is Cron4, a well-known indoor swimming pool and wellness paradise with a unique sauna area, just 10 minutes away by car! Reduced entry for our guests!
The well-known ski area Kronplatz with its fantastic slopes is only 10 minutes by car (6km) away from us. Other ski areas are not too far away, e.g. Plose 40km, Gitschberg 30km, Speikboden 22km, Klausberg 32km, Helm 43km, Haunold 36km, Rotwand 53km, Alta Badia 29km. Our farm is particularly conveniently located for many excursions and easy hikes. From here you can quickly get to the Badia Valley, the Antholz Valley, the Gsies Valley, the Prags Valley and the Ahrn Valley.

Coming from Brenner, drive to the Brixen/Pustertal motorway exit. From the motorway exit, follow the road through the Pustertal for 25 km. 100 m after the "Sonnenburg/Castel Badia" tunnel, turn left towards Sonnenburg and stay on this street until you turn right directly at the front door of the Hebenstreit residence. Drive to the end of the street and you'll be with us.
Coming from East Tyrol, drive 75 km west from Lienz through the Puster Valley towards the motorway. Take the Sonnenburg exit on the right side of the street and stay on this street until you turn right directly at the front door of Ansitz Hebenstreit.
