Many animals, including rare ones:
Our little guests love to be with the animals, petting, feeding and looking at them. The Pinzgau radiant goats Frieda, Lilly, Bibi, Tina with Willi and Arthos, the peacock goats Klara and Liesl, the chamois-colored mountain goats Rosi and Mali, Sulmtal chickens with rooster Leo, Mangalitza pigs as well as cats and rabbits live on our farm.
Because we keep and breed endangered livestock breeds, we have been a recognized Archehof since 2016. In this way, we try to breathe new life into a piece of cultural history and preserve the diversity of local farm animal breeds.
Preserve the old:
Our older guests particularly like the old farmhouse with the beautiful yard as well as the historic machines and outbuildings that we still use. On the Kaspergut there are, among other things: a wood-burning oven, a Gmachl mill, an old threshing wagon, a traveling saw, a farmer's garden, an orchard with a drying house, vintage tractors and - two sun loungers to make yourself comfortable.
We make almost everything ourselves:
The origins of the farm go back a long way. It was mentioned for the first time in 1780. When we bought it in 2002 it was a ruin. With the help of the whole family we rebuilt it. As befits a listed farm, we mainly used old building materials.
We grow the rye for our bread ourselves. We also try to produce almost everything ourselves - from wooden boards to food. And sometimes also a piece of furniture for the holiday apartments.
