The Maurachgut organic farm, located in the heart of the beautiful Gastein Valley, is a very special place for your holiday at any time of the year. The traditionally organically managed mountain farm is located at 1,000 m in a quiet location, surrounded by a magical mountain and natural landscape.
The well-equipped holiday apartments for 2 or 4-6 people invite you to relax and unwind. Enjoy the wonderful view of the impressive mountains of the Hohe Tauern, the fresh mountain air and the relaxing peace.
The Maurachgut is also an excellent starting point for your activities in summer and winter: the town center of Bad Hofgastein, the Alpentherme Gastein with the thermal water bathing lakes and the valley station of the Schlossalmbahn can be reached in a few minutes by car (2 km). Numerous hiking opportunities.
In winter you can ski directly from the slopes to the organic farm. The toboggan run is also located behind the farm. Snowshoeing is also possible from the farm.
For animal enthusiasts, the Maurachgut organic farm offers a variety of different animals: cows with calves, sheep, goats, horses, cats and chickens. You are welcome to help with feeding in the new feel-good stable, and petting is also permitted. A special experience is the close contact with the animals.

Directions
Our organic farm is located in the Gastein Valley in the Salzburger Land. It is located on a hill in a secluded location, two kilometers from the town center of Bad Hofgastein (approx. 25 minutes on foot).
Coming from Dorfgastein, shortly after the Bad Hofgastein town sign, take the first exit at the Bad Hofgastein Mitte roundabout (near Schlossalmbahn). Then turn immediately right and then take the first left (signs Weinetsberg/Maurachgut). Now follow the mountain road to Haus Edel and continue straight ahead to the forest clearing (sign Maurachgut). Here you turn right and follow the road for another 400 m, which leads directly to our house.

Unser Aufenthalt auf dem Biohof Maurachgut ist immer sehr schön! Die Ferienwohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, immer sehr sauber und es fehlt an nichts. Die herzliche Gastfreundschaft der Familie trägt maßgeblich dazu bei, dass wir uns rundum wohl fühlen. Die idyllische Lage des Hauses in unmittelbarer Nähe zu den Skipisten ist für Skifahrer perfekt geeignet und bietet einen traumhaften Ausblick auf die Berge. Wir kommen gerne wieder und freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal!

Immer wieder wunderbar!
Wir kommen seit Jahren aufs Maurachgut, um dort wunderbare Tage zu verbringen. Wir genießen das sehr gut ausgestattete Appartement, den Frühstückskorb, den wir uns bei der Altbäurin Kathi holen, den Abstecher im neuen Wohlfühlstall und die ruhige Einzellage des Hofes. Da wir gerne Schifahren ist es hervorragend nur 6 Gehminuten von der Piste entfernt zu sein und nach dem Schitag wieder direkt zum Hof fahren zu können. Freuen uns jetzt schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt. Herzlichen Dank!

Für uns ein Paradies
Wir lieben diesen Ort sei vielen Jahren, es ist so idyllisch, rund um den Hof nur Natur und Ruhe, auf das Tal und den Ort blickt man von oben. Schnell ist man unten zB für die Therme. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und geschmackvoll, die Gastgeber hilfreich und herzlich! Die Berge ein Traum, vom Skifahren bis zum Wandern! Ein Geheimtipp!

Schöner Bauernhof in den Bergen
Freundliche und hilfsbereite Familie, schöne Ferienwohnung, tolle Lage mit super Ausblick, viele verschiedene Tierarten, die alle gestreichelt werden können, super im Frühling da es dann besonders viel Tierkinder gibt. Viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung (Thermen, Bergbahnen, Naturerlebnisse...)
